Easter Weekend - Big weekend, big fixtures

Recommended Posts

The Easter weekend is a big deal in much of Europe giving some lucky people extra holidays. And at least where I am, the weather is supposed to be perfect!

This big weekend brings with it some big games across Europe too.

In England we have Man City vs. Spurs -  There is a lot riding on this for city, having just Won, Drew and Lost against Spurs (try explaining that to someone who doesn't understand football) after the second leg of the Champs League quarter final they come head to head again!

For City this is a chance to return to the top of the Premier League, and maybe exact some revenge. For Spurs if they achieve victory once more it might help secure a much coveted top 4 spot. Can Spurs do it again, this time without the help of VAR?

Over in Italy we are looking forward to the Juventus vs. Fiorentina game, although neither team have a lot riding on the outcome, past experience tells us this might be a good'un.

In Milan we see Inter go up against Roma, where Roma are battling to qualify for the Champions League and Inter suffering a loss here go on to face league leaders Juve, where another loss would see Roma draw level on points with them.

In Spain we see another Champions League position battle at Getafe vs. Sevilla with the winner getting the 4th place spot, for now. While at the other end of the table there is Rayo facing Huesca in a fight for survival.

Huesca may be confident having earned a draw against Barca last time out. But a victory for either team doesn't free them from the relegation zone, but it may certainly help their chances of survival!

5 games, whats your predictions?

What games are you looking out for this weekend? Let us know!
